The vast majority of the planet makes and consumes music outside of the traditional systems of the western music industry. These countries are usually dismissed as being ‘lost to piracy’ or ‘inaccessible’ but they are full of amazing musicians and passionate music fans just the same, it’s just that the rules are different.
Outdustry Ltd is a music industry projects company specialising in the Chinese music business, perhaps the most enigmatic and misunderstood music market of them all. Rather than adhering to the redundant received wisdoms and inherited white elephants of the west, China is starting afresh from absolute rock-bottom. Every project we do is specifically tailored to the unique demands of this environment.
Our site is currently being updated. Please check back soon for a more detailed ‘About’: What projects we are working on, who we are working on them with etc.
